  The eyes: questionable bright green carpet topped with vomit yellow walls. Ring around the tub. General lack of cleanliness.

  The good: the front desk staff who greeted us was very friendly, helpful and polite. I liked him a lot. The 1 star they got is for that guy. And because I can’t give 0. Also, dog friendly. (+ $25.00)

  The nose: think 90s dog groomer meets porta- potty. They seriously use enough febreeze to cover almost any odour... almost. If you’re super sensitive to scents this is a BAD choice... the whole hotel reeks of air freshener. It’s also not a great choice for pets. My dog’s eager sniffing quickly devolved into sneezing and retching. You know you’re doing something right if it smells so bad you can make an animal that rolls in road kill on the reg want to throw up.

  Not recommended at all. Accommodations Grossly over-priced. WIFI crashed 27 x in one day. Just 2 days of a 10 day stay with consistent WIFI. Day staff rude at front desk (at times, Never know when she is going to be happy. We have never seen her or evening staff smile. She just doesn't seem to care.) Requested Non smoking room but smoke filters in our non-smoking room from wall behind bed, bathroom fan and/or heater. No such thing as non-smoking room when subjected to breathing in all the second-hand smoke. Peeling paint on bathroom floor, dripping bathroom sink tap. Requested a queen bed but it is a 54" Double bed (Measured), Toilet seat discoloured on one side, stained sink, stained tub, stained mirror, Window frame dirty and moldy. Had to unplug microwave to use TV. Bed is nothing to write home about. Carpet is so thin – might as well be concrete. Backs onto, what appears to be stored propane tankers? Over-all Motel is dark, dank and dismal. They either can't afford to fix up the motel or they, seemingly just don't care. Breakfast is mostly cold fare, edible but that's it. Most of the time there were no paper plates left (9:30am). Brick is falling off outside. On the plus side: 11pm staff are consistently helpful and respectful. They have guest laundry and sell snacks but both pop machines were empty Dec 7 and 8/17 and snacks dwindled fast. The chips for sale were a different price depending on who was working. The pop machine does not return proper change. Reported to evening staff. She said the pop machine is always doing that! No refund.

  Smell of smoke at night and early morning in corridor is horrific and a further health concern to us. Breakfast room/ empty restaurant is a walk down a barely lit ramp into the bowels of the Inn. Excessive noise in the hallway during the night with banging doors, people talking and running. Complained to front desk day staff – nothing but excuses!

  Went there in 2009. Very nice place... as nice as any 2-3 star motel. Good rates for a place so far out there. Very sweet people there. Clean rooms. Wi fi was good, too. I recommend...

  Very pleasant desk staff. Worn out, needs TLC badly. Overpriced, poor value for accommodation provided. Squished bug on ceiling in room. Someone's hair on heat register in washroom. Tub horrible. Disappointing when having a late night arrival. Continental breakfast adequate.

  The ears: staff start vacuuming bright and early. While chatting loudly. Knocked on our door 2x before check out time (11am) to see if we were ready to leave.
